Momentum Release Highlights – 08/06/2026

The August 6, 2026 release introduces enhancements across Data Quality, endorsements, commissions, claims, tasks, messaging, ACORD forms, CRM functionality, and system integrations. Highlights include new commission mismatch tools, expanded endorsement reporting, improved claim workflows, SMS/MMS delivery tracking, additional ACORD mapping capabilities, and significant CRM and platform improvements. 

• Data Quality Tools

Endorsement Agent Commission Rule Mismatch

A new Data Quality tool helps identify endorsements where the Agent Commission Rule may not match the expected configuration.

This can help agencies identify potential commission setup issues before they affect reconciliation or agent commission statements.

Expanded Mismatch List

Account Manager has been added as an available option within the Data Quality Mismatch List, providing another way to identify inconsistent assignments across records.

• Endorsement Enhancements

AI Search

Endorsement-related lists now include an AI Search option, providing another way to locate and review endorsement information.

Total Amount Averages

Endorsement-related lists now include an option to display averages for Total Amounts.

Full Term Amount

A new optional Full Term Amount column has been added to Endorsements.

A new filter also allows users to compare the:

• Endorsement Effective Date
• Policy Effective Date

These additions provide greater visibility into endorsement amounts and timing.

• Agent Commission Statements

Report by Carrier / Agent

Interactive Reports for Agent Commission Statements now include a Report by Carrier / Agent option for additional commission analysis.

• Claims

Prefill Claims from Incident Reports

When creating a new claim, Momentum AMS can now prefill information from an existing Incident Report claim type.

This reduces duplicate data entry when an incident progresses into a claim.

Expanded Claim Editing

The Claims area has been updated with additional editing capabilities. Users can now edit information within the:

• Closure tab
• Financials tab
• Parties tab

Claims Interface Improvements

Claims styling has also been updated to more closely match the Policy and Quote views, providing a more consistent experience throughout Momentum AMS.

• Insured Info Center

Account Overview

A new Account Overview tab has been added to the Insured Info Center.

The Info Center also includes an indication of the insured's portal access status, providing additional account information without requiring users to navigate to separate areas of the record.

• Tags

Undo Batch Tagging

The Apply Tag batch action now includes the ability to Undo the operation.

This provides an easier way to reverse an accidental bulk tagging operation without manually removing the tag from each affected record.

• Cards View

Opportunities & Claims

Cards View for Opportunities and Claims now includes a Total Amounts option, providing additional financial information directly within the card-based workflow.

• Tasks & Task Categories

Notes for Task Changes

Momentum AMS can now add a Note when a task's:

• Due Date changes
• Assigned User changes

Agency Administrators can control this option from the upper-right area of the Tasks page.

Important: This setting is turned off by default.

Task Category API Enhancements

The Task Category API has been expanded to:

• Return category stages and their order
• Support updating task categories
• Automatically replace associated checklists when applicable

These enhancements provide additional functionality for integrations and automated workflows using Momentum AMS task categories.

• SMS & MMS Messaging

Momentum AMS continues to expand its integrated messaging capabilities.

Vonix and Lightspeed

SMS/MMS functionality has been integrated and tested with:

• Vonix
• Lightspeed Texting

Message Delivery Status

Outbound SMS messages can now automatically update their delivery status as:

• Sending
• Sent
• Failed

When a message fails, the system can also provide a failure notification containing information from the messaging provider about the reason for the failure.

• ACORD Forms

Several ACORD mapping and lookup improvements are included in this release.

Corrected mapping of the Description field.

Improved automatic population of the Producer field.

Corrected the Yes/No question lookup functionality.

ACORD 90

All ACORD 90 forms now include additional lookups for:

CRM Notes & User Experience

Several improvements have been made to Notes and activity management within the CRM experience.

Notes Enhancements

CRM Notes now include:

• Note filtering
• Reply controls
• Additional action buttons

Interface Improvements

Additional usability improvements include:

• Improved modal behavior while scrolling
• Increased Activities/Logs panel height
• Updated CRM interface based on the new UI design

Performance Improvements

Notes and related entities have been moved to a separate database as part of ongoing performance improvements.

• Integration & Event Publishing Improvements

Several behind-the-scenes enhancements improve communication between Momentum AMS and connected Momentum applications.

Kafka and MAC Events

Updates include:

• NOTE events are filtered so only supported entities are published
• Supported NOTE entities include Insured, Task, and Opportunity
• NOTE_INSERT, NOTE_UPDATE, and NOTE_DELETE event payloads have been added for MAC

These enhancements provide more consistent event handling for connected systems and automation.

• Additional System Updates

Properties

The Properties Insert/Edit page is now available in supported environments.

Animals

Additional modifications have been made to Cattle Type functionality.

Benefits

The Benefits application has received updated styling consistent with the familiar one-page view used elsewhere within the Momentum ecosystem.
